Olibanum, the frankincense of the ancients, was ascribed by Linnaeus to the Juniperus Lycia, which is still recognized as its source by the London and Edinburgh Colleges. There appear to be two varieties, on from countries bordering on the Red Sea and the other from Calcutta.
