Boletus ignarius:  Agaric of the Oak, Touchwood or Spunk grows upon the decaying trunks of the oak and ash and is common to the old and new continents. The prepared agaric was thought to arrest hemorrhage which occasionally takes place from leech bites, especially those of the European leech and moxas.
