A particularly fine example, signed - “Denis, Bruxxels”, un-plated steel,  with a checkered ebony half-handle on the outer blade and a nicely turned and octagonal horn handle on the proximal end of the central shaft.  The central shaft is held in place by a blued-steel thumbscrew and two latch-levers on the ebony handle.
