•Center:  Edward Rigby’s (1747-1821) design marked GRAY & SELBY NOTTINGHAM, un-plated steel with dark patina and cross-hatched handles with latch all in VFC.
•Bottom:  Franz Carl Naegele’s (1778-1851) a German who’s design surely influenced Rigby.  This example by Tiemann Co. in Gothic script represents his earlier form, plated steel, cross-hatched handles with latch all in VGC.
