An unusual and rare slide specimen preparation outfit with ivory handles by MAW as   described and illustrated in S. Maws Son & Thompson’s 1882Book of Illustrations.  This particular group of instruments were intended for the preparation of botanical and entomological specimens for mounting on microscope slides as well as for removal of dermatological lesions.
