A fine example of Cooper Rose’s Vaccinator signed Allen Hanburys, London and illustrated in the 1885 Down Bros. catalog figure 329-6/9.  A passage in the catalog from the West London Medical Journal: “At the suggestion of L.C.H. Broughton, public vaccinator, Down Bros. have made a vaccinator which has some special advantages.  It has a five platinum-iridium needles at one end and a spatula at the other providing for more rapid vaccination.”
