The Konseal Filling & Closing Apparatus, developed by the J.M. Grosvenor Co. of Boston, was the most widely used device in American drug stores for the preparation of cachets. The device came in a wooden box with instructions on the underside of the lid. It consists of a nickel mold, funnels, rollers, tampers, water pan and a supply of several sizes of Konseals (cachets).
