Citrate of Iron and Quinia is made according to Prof. Proctor, by heating together, in a capsule, an ounce of Quinia, five ounces of Citrate of Iron, and twelve ounces of water, mixed and evaporated to a syrup.  It is administered as a tonic in doses of 5 grains or more, three time a day, either in solution or in the form of a pill.
