A rare French “pessary” mold for producing paraffin-based vaginal suppositories.  The molds arepewter and bi-valved, each marked E.Finot, BTE-S.G.D.G. and rest in a cooling tray marked E.Finot, Asnier Seine, Ovule 16 Grammes.  The entire apparatus rests on a wooden base with label on bottom and is covered by a glass dome with faceted glass knob handle.
