The Cachet is a round convex disk made of wafer-sheet of various sizes that, when assembled, provides a convenient means for dispensing powders.
Corking uses three tools: the cork borer, cork press, and the bottle corker. The Cork Borer produces corks of a desired size. The Cork Press is used to reduce the diameter of the cork prior to insertion. The Bottle Corker guides the freshly compressed cork into the bottle.
Pill Making used six tools: the pill machine, pill tile, apothecary searce, pill finisher or roller, pill silverer, and counter/teller.
The Powder Folder is a device used by pharmacists to produce a powder packet of uniform size to fit neatly in a dispensing box.
Plasters were employed for the external application of materials that would carry a medicine and adhere to the skin.
