A fine example of classic proportion marked “J. & W. WOOD” of Manchester, England.  Construction is from un-plated steel, the blades possessing 10 guarded teeth, the branches feature the traditional double curve and the pivot-point is joined by a screw.  The ebony handles are nicely shaped and have both a smooth and checkered surface.
