An unusually long form (40 cm.) of Barne’s Blunt Hook as illustrated in the 1889 Evans & Wormall, fig.571, with an un-plated steel shaft, unmarked, and with a decorative turning and silver ferrule at the proximal end.  Its octagonal and shaped ebony handle has both checkered and smooth and surfaces.
