The Game of Dr. Fusby was among the most popular games of the mid and late 19th century.  It consists of 48 cards divided into 12 families of 4 cards each.  The object is to accumulate the most books of cards by calling for other family members of a card the player holds.  McLoughlin Bros was a New York publishing firm active between 1828 and 1920.  The company was a pioneer in chromolithography printing technologies for children’s books.  Sold by Henry Schwarz Toys, 15 E.
