Dr. Tichenor’s Antiseptic and Refrigerant, containing 70% alcohol in addition to arnica and peppermint oil, was intended for topical application on bruises, cuts, sprains, superficial burns, sunburn and not to mention, mouth wash as well as sore and tired feet.  Manufactured by the Dr. G,H, Tichenor Antiseptic Company of New Orleans, LA., and registered with the U.S. Patent Office in 1883.
