Dr. Sanche’s Oxydonor, American, C.1900, elaborately signed “Oxydonor Victory Made by Dr. H. Sanche & Co., Detroit Michigan….” and with various late 19th century patent dates. The heart of this “Diaductive Cure” is a plated brass canister, designed to be immersed in water while connected by a copper wire to a terminal strapped to the patient’s ankle. Its claim - “All things sod for treating disease by connecting the organism to be treated with ice water, snow, ice or anything cold, or with the earth, or gas or water pipes, or with anything connected to the earth, or anything colder or warmer than blood heat, through cords or wires, by any devices, no matter what its from or name, are dangerous imitations, unless plainly stamped with the name Dr. H. Sanche…”
