Durand’s Colic Drops contains 5% alcohol, capsicum, camphor, benzoic acid, valerian root, oil of fennel, cloves, peppermint and rosemary.  It was intended for the treatment of “intestinal cramps, stomach-ache, and diarrhea when due to overeating, or to eating of unripe fruits, exposure to cold drafts or partaking of cold drinks, etc.”  Prepared by the Durand Medicine Company 1542 Elm Street, Cincinnati, Ohio.
