Keith’s Abdominal Drainage Tube is constructed with a bulboustip, provided with or without large lateral openings.  A flange at the proximalend prevents introduction of the tube beyond the desired depth, whilethe flare at theproximal end facilitates the introduction of gauze, syringe nozzles, etc.
