$4.99
Sir Thomas Spencer Well’s (1818-1897) Pedicle Forceps were generally designed for compressing the pedicle to reduce it in size and provide temporary hemostasis prior to the application of a ligature. Available in five patterns - straight, angular, half curved, full curved and T-shaped. They typically approach ten inches in length, are of heavy design and provided with secure ratchet catches. The contact surface is about 2 inches long, deeply corrugated and able to withstand considerable force. Also used for holding omentum, for compressing broad masses, to stop oozing of blood and for repairing any of the hollow viscera. Truax - 1899
