James Leath (1805-1884) began to publish homeopathic literature in 1831. He was joined by Freerick Ross in 1855 to form Leath and Ross Homeopathic Chemists, purveyors of books, remedies and cases for distribution throughout the world. Among his works was a treatise on the Homeopathic treatment of Pregnancy, Labour, and the Puerperal State…in conjunction with the Functional and Organic diseases of the Womb in 1857.
