A beautifully executed prize-winning bronze bust statue of Pare’ by the 19th century French sculptor Emile Picault (1863-1909), depicting the famous French surgeon above a surgical saw and open book embellished with his famous motto, “I tended his wound; God cured him.”  Picault was a Parisian sculptor and medalist who exhibited at the Salon .
