This particular outfit includes astop-cock that may be introduced between the syringe barrel and the needle.  This is intended for aspirating purposes, and it provides a means for emptying the syringe of the aspirated fluid.  Needles for injection and an aspirating trocar with stylet are provided and all is contained in a fitted, leather covered case.
