Tobold’s Condenser employs a combination of three lenses, which, as usually constructed, is more complicated than any other pattern, while possessing no particular advantage.  Its reflector is positioned along the distal end of an articulated arm to accommodate the wants of the operator.  When attached to a student’s lamp or Argand gas burner, it will provide a powerful light for examination.  Unsigned.
