An exceedingly rare and complete outfit by WEISS 33 Strand, 1st quarter 19th C: Containing: Ivory syringe with flexible leather tube with ivory tip to inject stimulants into the stomach, bellows and tobacco chamber with 3 wire bound leather tubes with brass fittings that attach to 2 graduated ivory enema tips and 3 nostril discs, silver neonatal endotracheal aspiration tube, contained in a fitted, brass-bound mahogany case lined with green baize, all in excellent condition. Some examples include 4 vials containing: cordial mixture, spirits of hartshorn, camphorated spirits and emetic tartar.
