An exceptional and pristine example of this rare form by Aubry contained in a leather covered wood box line with lavender chamois and bearing Aubry’s gold gild trade label on the underside of the lid.  The instrument is constructed with a heavy-walled flint-glass cylinder, leather plunger at the end of a threaded steel shaft passing through a hard rubber cap and wing-nut signed AUBRY at the proximal end. A steel lancet with thumb-wheel at the proximal end, passes through the entire length of the instrument.  EC.
