Horn Scoops were available in a variety of sizes and shapes ranging from a both half-ounce to six ounces capacity and from about 2 to 6 inches long.  In time horn scoops were replaced by celluloid as it provided a far less costly method of manufacture. - Richardson, The Pill Rollers
