Uterine curettage permits the removal of foreign growths, adventitious tissues or mucous membranes from the uterus by scraping motions.  The procedure is often followed by packing the uterus to control bleeding. A fine example of this scarce classic form, unmarked, with a solid nickel-plated shank and ebony handle all in EC.
