This splendid example of Chassaignac’s Divergent Erignes from the Huntaerian Museum, signed by Savigny & Co., 67 St..James’s Street, London, (its 1810-1850 address) with ivory handle, used to elevate and treat areas and was nicely suited to ligation of hemorrhoids.
