An exquisite and exceedingly rare example of Jobert’s form by Parisian maker, Luer that exhibits exceptional craftsmanship and complexity. Included are a finely turned obturator with ivory caustic reservoir at the proximal end and a silver caustic applicator at the distal end. Both the speculum and the obturator are signed LUER. The handle is silver and all is contained in a fitted, green baize lined, heavily figured burl walnut box and all is in EC.
