Emmet’s Petit Needle Forceps is constructed without a catch and with cross-hatching on the all steel handles.  The jaw differ in that one is smooth and concave while the other is flat and cross-hatched to provide a secure grip on the needle.  Its handles are of ample weight to give them spring when closed firmly.
