Emmet’s Needle Forceps by Sheppard & Duddley- is constructed without a catch.  Its handles are of such a weight as to give them ample spring when closed firmly.  One jaw is faced with copper to enhance its grasp on the needle. The handle consists of checquered ebony scales over steel.
